Life in its perceptions

Life is a stream.
It takes you like a fish in it -
You can swim wherever you like, explore to how much ever depth you can reach;
But it'll take in its own course, no matter what you wish.

Life is an imaginary existing sky.
You are a bird in it -
It gives you space to fly your own way , colours your day exquisitely;
But it places the hawk and the sparrow together.

Adolescence should not be idolised

Being in your teens must be the most vague period in anybody's life, thought the hardest lessons are sharply learnt only through this transitional age.
Life is not a bed of roses, yes, but before the thorns come the pain!
Such is true about adolescence.
I've often had people telling me that being a kid was everything everyone wished for. People have also reminded me that I was almost an adult. Most of the times, they call me responsible for things that I have no voice over. I'm not blaming them. They call us adults and treat us as children barely out of their cradles.
Adolescence is not easy, mind you. I hate being indecisive. I hate being what they call a blooming flower. I hate my age because of the dangers that are deeply woven into every little seam here and there. I find myself more unruly, unelegant and nosy in situations that are being hurled at me right now. Taking everything lightly is a skill that is often ignored these days, and I'm no saint. Nor are the young adults around me.
I'm confused about what I am, though I'm clear that this is not a happy age, please, everyone. Don't call us carefree kids. We understand the money problems around the world, analyze political issues with lesser fear, move with ease around difficult problems because we have hope and not because we are ignorant about the position we are in.
We can see as good as any referee or a critic.
We can hear as well as any detective.
We can understand as well as any judge.
Only we can't speak as free as people older than us.

KNOW WHO IS GIVING YOU YOUR NEWS!

Who owns the media in India ?
Let us see the ownership of different media agencies.

NDTV :
A very popular TV news media is funded by Gospels of Charity in Spain Supports Communism. Recently it has developed a soft corner towards Pakistan because Pakistan President has allowed only this channel to be aired in Pakistan. Indian CEO Prannoy Roy is co-brother of Prakash Karat, General Secretary of the Communist party of India . His wife and Brinda Karat are sisters.
India Today which used to be the only national weekly is now bought by NDTV!! Since then the tone has changed drastically and turned into Hindu bashing.

CNN-IBN:
This is 100 percent funded by Southern Baptist Church with its branches in all over the world with HQ in US.. The Church annually allocates $800 million for promotion of its channel. Its Indian head is Rajdeep Sardesai and his wife Sagarika Ghosh.

Times group list:
Times Of India, Mid-Day, Nav-Bharth Times, Stardust, Femina, Vijay Times, Vijaya, Karnataka, Times now (24- hour news channel) and many more...
Times Group is owned by Bennet & Coleman. 'World Christian Council¢ does 80 percent of the Funding, and an Englishman and an Italian equally share balance 20 percent. The Italian Robertio Mindo is a close relative of Sonia Gandhi.

Star TV:
It is run by an Australian, who is supported by St. Peters Pontifical Church Melbourne.

Hindustan Times:
Owned by Birla Group, but hands have changed since Shobana Bhartiya took over. Presently it is working in Collaboration with Times Group.

The Hindu:
English daily, started over 125 years has been recently taken over by Joshua Society, Berne , Switzerland .. N. Ram's wife is a Swiss national.

Indian Express :
Divided into two groups. The Indian Express and new Indian Express (southern edition) ACTS Christian Ministries have major stake in theIndian Express and latter is still with the Indian counterpart.

Eeenadu:
Still to date controlled by an Indian named Ramoji Rao.
Ramoji Rao is connected with film industry and owns a huge studio in AndhraPradesh.

Andhra Jyothi:
The Muslim party of Hyderabad known as MIM along with a Congress Minister has purchased this Telugu daily very recently.

The Statesman:
It is controlled by Communist Party of India.

Kairali TV:
It is controlled by Communist party of India (Marxist)

Mathrubhoomi:
Leaders of Muslim League and Communist leaders have majorinvestment.

Asian Age and Deccan Chronicle :
Is owned by a Saudi Arabian Company with its chief Editor M.J. Akbar.

Gujarat riots which took place in 2002 where Hindus were burnt alive, Rajdeep Sardesai and Bharkha Dutt working for NDTV at that time got around 5Million Dollars from Saudi Arabia to cover only Muslim victims, which they did very faithfully.. Not a single Hindu family was interviewed or shown on TV whose near and dear ones had been burnt alive, it is reported.

Tarun Tejpal of Tehelka.com regularly gets blank cheques from Arab countries to target BJP and Hindus only, it is said.
The ownership explains the control of media in India by foreigners. The result is obvious .
PONDER OVER THIS. NOW YOU KNOW WHY EVERY ONE IS AGAINST TRUTH, HOW VERY SAD.
Please pass this on. Let everyone know who feeds them withbiased news and information- yet call themselves secular.

Happy Gandhi Jayanthi

I used to attend Balavikas when we used to reside in U.A.E, that is, till I turned 11. But I still remember those stories they used to tell us every Friday; it used to be fun to assign our own morals and quotations at the end, but today, in senior high school, I realise they taught us much more than morals; we learnt real life stories on how to live and how not, myths on good and bad habits, legends of God and man .... they are pearls of education that I miss many a time here in Chennai, TN, India. Our real life subject most of the time used to be Mahatma Gandhi. I think, as today is Gandhi Jayanthi, these stories may be relevant to the occassion:-

(These are stories that I'd heard when I was a small kid, around 6 or 7 years old, and have only a mental record of them. So, you could state that they are abridged versions of the episodes from "My Experiments with Truth".)

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, our 'Bapu', loved his mother a lot. He couldn't bear to see her suffer at any time. Now, Gandhi's mother used to have her lunch only after a certain bird had eaten and given it's call. This disturbed Gandhi a lot because some days, the bird never used to call and his mother went on without any food.
So, he devised a plan.
With a new whistle that he'd got as a gift, Gandhi practised and got the perfect imitation of the bird's call. Therefore, whenever the bird refused to give it's call, Gandhi blew his whistle, so that his mother would have her lunch. But unfortunately, Gandhi's mother found this out in a few days ( come on, there was no bird, but its call came? She suspected.....). Disappointed in her son, she called him close and asked him to explain why he did this to her. When he finished, she told him something he could never forget (neither could I).
"Son, I am touched by your compassion. But you have done something nobody should have done. You have created something false because you thought that it would be good for me. But let me tell you this, truth always triumphs . Because of what you have done, my faith in my belief has been shattered. Think along about everyone's beliefs when you want to do something. Remember, truth is the basis for any strong bond."
-----------------------------
When Mahatma Gandhi was 10 years old, he had a friend who ate meat. Gandhiji's family was strictly vegetarian, as we know. But out of friendship, Gandhi used to eat the non - vegetarian food that was brought by his friend for quite a while. In return for the food, Gandhi took a gold coin from his father's shirt and paid it to his friend. Unable to bear the guilt for a long time, Gandhi wrote the truth in a piece of paper and gave it to his father, begging for pardon and fearing what should be feared by little boys who make 'mistakes'.
But Gandhi's father read the note, closed his eyes for a few seconds and tore the paper. By this, Gandhi learnt, that truth was not punished. His father had not scolded him because of his truthfullness and by this gesture, he taught his son to never waver away from where he stood in his path of life.

This is what India usually does... Read it Carefully :-

An Old Story:
The Ant works hard in the withering heat all summer building its house and
laying up supplies for the winter.
The Grasshopper thinks the Ant is a fool and laughs & dances & plays the
summer away.
Come winter, the Ant is warm and well fed. The Grasshopper has no food or
shelter so he dies out in the cold.
Indian Version:

Just a hello...

New to the world of blogging, yet I'm inspired to poke my nose into its ever expanding horizon. I'm but a simple aspiring-to-be children author, named Harini Venkataraman, and am 15 years old. I've started my debut novel and am yet to finish it.... I'd like to be in contact with a lot of writers and learn more about .......... everything, in general.
